What is Lipo-Cavitation ?

Lipo cavitation, also known as ultrasonic cavitation, is a non-invasive fat reduction treatment that uses ultrasound waves to damage the fat cell membranes and release triglycerides. It targets small areas of fat and helps contour the body.

Cavitation combined with manual lymphatic drainage is an effective approach for body remodeling and localized fat reduction. Let’s break down each component:

  1. Cavitation:
    • Technology: Utilizes low-frequency ultrasonic waves to create microscopic bubbles around fat cells.
    • Process: These bubbles burst, breaking down fat deposits into a substance that’s easy for the body to eliminate.
    • Areas: Suitable for abdomen (love handles), thighs, buttocks, hips, and upper arms.
    • Results: Reduction in body volume, cellulite, and localized fat deposits.
    • Complement: Often combined with radiofrequency treatment for better outcomes.

  2. Manual Lymphatic Drainage:
    • Technique: Gentle, rhythmic manipulations to favor fluid and toxin elimination.
    • Role: Assists in draining released fats from cavitation.
    • Post-Treatment Care: Hydration, low-calorie diet, and regular exercise are essential.

Contraindication:

Pregnant and breastfeeding: Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should avoid ultrasonic cavitation.
- HIV/AIDS: Individuals with HIV/AIDS are not suitable candidates for this treatment.

- Cancer (all forms): Patients with any form of cancer should avoid ultrasonic cavitation.

- Undergoing chemotherapy or immune therapy: Those currently undergoing cancer treatment should refrain from this procedure.

- Immunodeficiency: People with compromised immune systems are not  recommended for ultrasonic cavitation.

- Lupus: Patients with lupus should avoid this treatment.
- Uncontrolled high blood pressure: Individuals with uncontrolled hypertension should not undergo ultrasonic cavitation.
- Uncontrolled diabetes: Patients with uncontrolled diabetes are not suitable candidates.
- Prednisone and other steroid medications: Treatment may increase inflammation, so steroid use is a contraindication.
- Heart problems or diseases: Individuals with heart conditions should avoid this procedure.
- Kidney damage, diseases, or problems: Patients with kidney issues should refrain from ultrasonic cavitation.
- Liver damage, diseases, or problems: Liver-related conditions are contraindications.
- Haemorrhagic disease, trauma, or bleeding: Patients with bleeding disorders should not undergo this treatment.
- Numb or insensitive to heat: Sensitivity to heat is essential for this procedure.
- Active implanted devices: Individuals with pacemakers or defibrillators should avoid ultrasonic cavitation.
